Jesus lives in Dots tummy

Well I just had a very deep theological discussion with our little Dot. She informed me that Jesus lives in her tummy, he flew into her belly button when she asked him to come into her tummy. Then she proceeded to run through the house with a stuffed puppy she called Jesus saying "fly Jesus, fly Jesus, good boy. Now its time to take a nap." She wants to know if we can take Jesus to dinner tonight.
I am sure we will continue this conversation about Jesus as she grows and we will be sure to let her know that Jesus in fact does not live in her tummy but in her heart and that he most likely did not come in through her belly button. But for now we are enjoying the sparkle in her eyes as she tells us about our precious savior and what He means to her.

Dot fell down

Well not really. Dot was pushed down by her 5 year old brother Noah who wanted the Jerry nativity toy and would stop at nothing to get it. That nothing sent us to the ER with Dorothy who recieved her first 4 stiches. A banner day in the Palmer house our first stiches to date, 7 years was a good run. Right? Not if you ask Dorothy. But like in the movies it all turned out okay in the end. Though she will have a black eye for the holidays our little Dot is looking at the bright side. "Look mommy its reddish." Yes, Dot thinks that her brother blessed her with permanent eye makeup for Christmas. She thinks it's quite attractive and you can find her at the oven looking at her reflection with delight.
Emma, however found it very hard to look at her but of course I reasured her "look into her other eye honey it doesnt look so scary".
Noah just gave her a hug and said " I sorry Dot."
